Oil prices are trading flat on Thursday morning after substantial gains in the previous session on the back of bullish figures showing an 8.4m bbl week-on-week decrease in US crude inventories, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 74.74/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.15 on Wednesday's close.
Brent gained USD 2.22 day on day to close at USD 74.59/bbl on Wednesday, while in New York, the September contract for WTI light sweet crude oil gained USD 3.23 on Tuesday's session to close at USD 72.42/bbl.
