Oil prices are looking a touch softer on Tuesday morning after gaining in the previous session driven by stronger US stock markets on the back of the successful passage of a healthcare bill, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 80.19/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.35 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the Brent front month gained USD 0.66 to settle at USD 80.54/bbl, while the Nymex WTI May contract rose USD 0.63 to USD 81.60/bbl. The WTI April contract expired on Monday.
