Oil prices are trading flat on Wednesday morning after having lost more than USD 1 in the previous session as disappointing economic news on salaries from the US and weaker equity markets triggered profit-taking, one player said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.15/bbl on the ICE platform, USD 0.31 below the previous close. In New York, the WTI September contract last traded down USD 0.11 at USD 69.34/bbl.
