Oil is trading slightly down on Monday morning but further Opec production cuts and a possible strike which could limit fuel supplies at US refineries could lift prices, said one player.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 45.69/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.19 on Friday's close. In New York, the WTI March contract last traded down USD 0.59 at USD 41.09/bbl.
In the US, strike action by oil refinery and pipelines workers was still in the balance as talks over pay were set to continue later in
