Oil prices are flattening out on Friday morning following a huge sell off in the previous session in line with weaker equity markets and a stronger dollar, said traders.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 72.19/bbl, up 6 cents on the previous session.
On Thursday, the contract lost USD 3.79 day on day to close at USD 72.13/bbl. In New York, the front month WTI contract for light sweet crude oil lost USD 3.84 to close at USD 73.14/bbl.
