Commodities - New oil heights

Oil prices once again reached new heights Monday, and other commodities followed. However one analyst said he expected the price for crude oil to drop to around USD 100/barrel in the near future.
In New York , the May contract for light sweet crude oil closed at USD 117.48/bbl, which was 79 cents higher than Friday's level. The contract had traded higher earlier in the session, at USD 117.83/bbl.In London , the June contract for Brent crude oil closed at USD 114.43/bbl, a gain of 51 cents on the previous close. The session high and low was USD 114.86/bbl and USD 113.03/bbl,

Crude oil in New York hit yet another record above USD 117 this morning as Opec announced that it will maintain production, blaming the weak dollar and speculation for the high oil prices. The oil price rally is pushing up the other markets as well.

Crude oil in New York hit yet another record above USD 117 this morning as Opec announced that it will maintain production, blaming the weak dollar and speculation for the high oil prices. The oil price rally is pushing up the other markets as well.
