Oil prices look slightly softer in line with a firmer US dollar on Monday morning, though record Chinese crude import figures provided support in early trade, one player said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.37 at USD 75.05/bbl on the ICE platform. On Friday, the Brent contract closed up USD 0.71 at USD 75.42/bbl - USD 3.77 above the previous week's level - while the WTI August contract on Nymex gained USD 0.65 to finish at 76.09/bbl.
