Oil prices opened well below USD 50 on Tuesday on the back of a worsening financial situation and Opec's delays in further production cuts.
The Brent crude oil front-month contract was last heard at USD 46.13/bbl, down USD 1.84 day on day, which is the lowest level for three and a half years. In New York, the January WTI contract last traded down USD 1.85 at 47.43/bbl.
