Commodities - CO2 hits 4-month low

Carbon prices hit a 4-month low on Tuesday with the December 06 contract trading at a low of EUR 11.55/tonne, but by the end of the day rebounded to close between 11.70 and 12.00.
Tuesday was certainly a volatile day in the carbon market, with one player saying that the volatility was attracting speculative traders: “Some players are catching up on lost time.” Another added that “liquidity is creating further liquidity”.“After many weeks of nothing happening, the carbon market is now interesting again,” said one player. “T

Carbon prices hit a 4-month low on Tuesday with the December 06 contract trading at a low of EUR 11.55/tonne, but by the end of the day rebounded to close between 11.70 and 12.00.
