Nordic forwards are edging sideways on Monday morning on the back of generally bearish weather, but mixed signals from surrounding markets.
The Q1 12 contract was last seen at EUR 39.55/MWh, up EUR 0.15 from the last settlement, while the January contract had gained EUR 0.02 at EUR 39.02/MWh. The year 2012 contract had meanwhile risen by EUR 0.15 to EUR 39.25/MWh. "A higher-than expected system price of EUR 37.24/MWh gave initial support to the market, which was then pulled down by the weather, which still looks mild,”
