Market - Hope and fear

(powernews.org) - Prices have jumped up and down this morning, but there is no clear direction in the market as players are anticipating new signals to trade on. V2-03 stays above its Monday lows, trading last at NOK/MWh 288.
A surprisingly weak system price took much of the downside out of the market yesterday afternoon, and most contracts have traded above and below yesterday’s closing prices this morning. A Nena analyst believed players are waiting for the Monday forecast and system price, before they decide to pull the market in either direction.- Around 7 TWh more than normal of precipitation have

After testing the upside early on, the Thursday market opted for the downside seeing V2-03 down NOK 6.50 to NOK 304. A Swedish trader attributed the fall to profit-taking and less fear of next week’s high pressure.
