(Heren Energy) - UK prompt prices were extremely stable in the first half of the week with occasional supply glitches having no effect on prices. Transco had to take some buying action on Monday, but the shortage of gas proved temporary, and the UK system has been heavy for the rest of the week.
A planned maintenance outage at Marathon ’s East Brae field, which is expected to end this weekend, has not left the system short. Transco maintenance near Teesside, which reduced flows through the terminal again on Tuesday and Wednesday, also had very little effect on linepack as demand remained low.
