Oil prices are heading upwards on Thursday as the market continues to focus its attention on events in the Middle East and North Africa, and concerns about Japanese demand shortfalls ease.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 111/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.40 on Wednesday's close, while the WTI April contract on Nymex traded USD 0.43 higher at USD 98.41/bbl.
