Nordic power prices jumped this morning on dry and cold weather forecasts and on concerns regarding the availability of Swedish nuclear reactors this winter, players said.
The Q4 11 contract opened strongly on Thursday morning reaching EUR 50.75/MWh, up EUR 1.10 day on day, but has since stabilised at EUR 50.50/MWh.
