Market - Wet forecast halts upside

The Tuesday market opened hesitantly after the Whitsun holidays as traders were presented with few new signals to trade on. A Swedish trader argued in favour of a bull trend, but said that wet prognosis is currently halting such movements.
Activity is low this morning with only 758.3GWh traded over Nord Pool at 11:45. The weeks are slightly down from Friday, while the forwards are up. Market - First up, then down
Wet forecast, falling futures and stable forwards characterises the market on Wednesday. A Swedish trader argued this morning that the forwards should follow the weeks down in the long term, but that such movements could be delayed if the forecast rain isn’t delivered. An analyst argued that falling coal prices and a weak dollar are also contributing to keeping prices down.

Traders argue this morning that the market sentiment is a sneaking bull trend for Tuesday, as a stronger system price is expected. They nonetheless preferred not to have positions themselves through the weekend.
