(Heren Energy) - Day-ahead at Zeebrugge traded between 23.00 p/th and 24.00 p/th on Tuesday, with the Belgium-UK Interconnector continuing to flow at reduced rates. Operator IUK said that the flow rats had increased through the pipeline to Zeebrugge due to improved gas quality emerging there.
Several traders reported hectic activity in the prompt ahead the beginning of a new month on Wednesday. Among the front months, October rose firmly on the back of uncertainty regarding the reliability of Interconnector flows in that month and the contract traded frequently at a basis to the NBP of +2.50 p/th.
