Oil prices are rangebound on Friday morning as markets nerves continue to be tested by political wrangling in the US over the country's debt ceiling.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 117.50/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.14 on Thursday's close, while the WTI September contract on Nymex traded USD 0.36 lower at USD 97.08/bbl.
