Oil prices continued to firm Monday, with the front-month contract for Brent crude trading above USD 133/barrel in London. However several commodity markets were closed due to bank holidays in the US and UK.
On the ICE exchange, Brent contracts for June opened Monday's session at USD 131.25/bbl, and traded at a high and low of USD 133.16/bbl and USD 131.25/bbl respectively. The contract closed the session at USD 132.37/bbl, 80 cents above the previous close. Tuesday morning, it was seen traded up 68 cents at USD 133.05 a barrel.
