Crude prices extended prior-session losses on Wednesday as they came under pressure from softer Asian equities and a stronger dollar amid fears China fuel demand could be slowing, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea oil was last heard at USD 72.39/bbl, USD 0.32 lower day on day, while the WTI July contract on Nymex was last dealt USD 0.43 lower at USD 72.15/bbl.
