Oil prices are trading slightly up on Wednesday morning following another day of sharp falls, despite rising tensions in the Middle East and, in particular, Bahrain, one analyst said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 108.86/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.34 on Tuesday's close, when it shed USD 5.15.
On Nymex, the front month WTI contract was last trading USD 0.46 higher at USD 97.64/bbl, after closing on Tuesday USD 4.01 down at USD 97.18/bbl.
